Today's prep was to create a soundcloud account and upload an audio file of a noise we had recorded at home. The noise had to sound like a noise that would be used in a film. I scraped a knife against the metal handle of a drawer for my sound. I thought this was a very effective sound because it was very eerie and and harsh.

A grade. Good: we decided that this sound could help construct a potentially violent character who uses the knife sound to threaten others.
